Step 1 - Registration Information
In an attempt to make the teams evenly skilled for the outdoor season we will be hosting player evaluations for City League players and the Rustlers Development Program. These evaluations will ensure each player is registered in the best program for that player. We will require all players in the age group from Under 6 through Under 18 to attend all of the sessions listed to be placed on a team. Please note players that are trying out for the Rustler Development Program only need to attend the evaluations for that program. City League Evaluations and Jamboree Sessions Rustler Development Evaluation Times Absolutely no jewelry or hair beads are allowed to be worn during the game. Players will be asked to remove these before the player can continue to play. No exceptions.
SHIN GUARDS and SOCKS TO COVER shin guards are MANDATORY. Players will NOT be allowed to play without this equipment. In the field houses and gyms, clean, non-marking running shoes must be worn. Indoor soccer shoes are helpful, but not necessary. Shorts, preferably black, must be worn.
Schedules and team rosters will be posted on the website on October 12, 2011. The season will begin the week of October 17, 2011.
All City League programs will the excpetion of Kindersoccer play two times per week. The season will run approximately from Oct 17, 2011 - February 26, 2012.
It is not recommended that kids move up to an older age group to be with siblings or friends. This situation leads to frustration for team mates and volunteer coaches due to the skill level and maturity of the younger players. All players will be expected to attend their evaluation for their age group and the Technical Director will identify players that should move up an age group.
**NEW** - All players must pay City League Fees, including those that are trying out for the Rustler Development Program. Players in the Rustler Development Program will be then charged an additional fee to participate in that program. The additional fee will be collected by the manager in October once the players are chosen for that program.
