Kindersoccer
Kindersoccer is a Parent and Tot program where players are given the opportunity to play introductory soccer skill building games. This program will include one parent and tot session a week.
Under 6 and Under 8
This outdoor season Under 6 and Under 8 soccer will be twice a week. Each session will be a 20 - 30 minute practice followed by a game. This is the most important age group to foster enjoyment and start introducing skills to our players .
Under 8 players are requested to attend evaluation in March, see schedule below under City League Evaluations. These evaluations will ensure that the players are in the correct programs as well as assist in making equal teams.
The best time for kids to learn soccer tricks and skills is at these young ages. The Rustlers Development Program is introducing the U6 & U8 RDP Academy this year for anyone who wants there kids to learn soccer skills, tricks and have fun in the game of soccer. In a positive environment with the emphasis on enjoyment and skill development, we will have extra 3-4 practices a month. All practices will be structured with age appropriate game like activities and overseen by the MYSA Technical Director, Kevin Wagner. This program will be an additional cost and will start after the city league begins. More information on the program will follow please watch the website.
Under 10 through Under 16
This outdoor season from Under 10 through Under 16 there will now be programming for two distinct groups of players.
There will be City League which will be twice a week. For under 10 and under 12 each session will include a practice followed by a game each night. For Under 14 and Under 16 all times will be a full game, there will no longer be practices for these two age groups. All games will be played in Lloydminster with the exception for the Under 10 league. The under 10 league may have 2 – 3 games in rural communities. Teams and field sizes will be smaller in these leagues to create more teams and more opportunities for the players to be involved in the game.
The second program is the Rustlers Development Program for players who are committed to the game of soccer. RDP will include 3 sessions per week. RDP will run as a Club from U10-U16 age groups with the emphasis on individual skill development, group development, then team development. If a player is committed to development in our game than the RDP is for you!
Players will need to attend evaluations for both these programs, please click on the appropriate schedule for dates and times.
